Nicky Maxwell Evicted from Big Brother UK compound
Nicky Maxwell became the fifth Big Brother UK 2007 housemate to be evicted after the public voted by 76% to evict her rather than Gerry Stergiopoulos.
Reflecting any housemate’s fears that a huge amount of boo-ing indicated the degree of public dislike of them as a housemate, Nicky opined, “I’m f****** terrified - they’re booing me.”
“It was mixed for both you and Gerry”, intuitively responded Charley Uchea in a compassionate attempt to encourage Nicky before she faced Davina McCall and the crowd.
Davina McCall suggested Nicky Maxwell had ‘thawed out as a man-hater’ after 52 days on Big Brother UK 2007.
Davina McCall offered evidence that Liam McGough’s arrival had sparked Nicky’s interest in a man again but Nicky realized Liam’s interests were elsewhere and she correctly guessed he nominated her for eviction by saying he was ‘annoying’ thereby indicating a lack of chemistry between them.
The housemates seemed on edge by Nicky’s fears as she left to face Davina McCall and the baying crowd but they cheered up when the clock struck midnight and the house was turned into a pub to celebrate Liam McGough’s 23rd birthday.
