The Rev, along with drummer Snell have quit Towers Of London saying Donny Tourette's and Celebrity Big Brother
Musician and guitarist ‘The Rev’ revealed why he and Snell the drummer quit the Towers of London band.
‘I felt the integrity of the band had gone since Donny’s appearance on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’,' The Rev said. ‘Donny and Dirk [Tourette] became all about the partying and the music suffered. It had become the Donny Tourette show. I left the band on my own terms.’
Towers of London will continue their tour by drafting in friends Kristian Marr and Aaron Attwood to fill the positions left.
Donny Tourette joined Celebrity Big Brother UK 2007 in January by abusing the crowd and making rude gestures. He left after 48 hours by scaling the wall to escape saying he refused to serve fellow housemate Jade Goody and her family.
Donny Tourette also appeared on ‘Never Mind the Buzz****s’ comedy panel game show two days before Towers of London released their 5th single from their debut ‘I’m a Rat’. Towers of London went on a full UK tour supporting the single’s release.
The Rev revealed drummer Snell was almost hit by breeze blocks thrown by a group of teenagers at Towers of London while they were chatting with fans outside York Fibbers.
